Fiberglass and Continuous Rods

Fiberglass and continuous rods are now supported, with commonly used rods populated in our branded rod library.

Additional Simulation Import File Types Supported

In addition to supporting RSDX simulation files, Inp6e file imports are now supported.

Branded Rod Guides

Users can now select from a comprehensive library of branded rod guides; buoyant guide weight is now incorporated into the simulation for improved accuracy.

Calculated Guides per Rod

Users can now choose to have the optimal number of guides per rod calculated based on sideloading and critical buckling avoidance.

PDF Report Improvements

The PDF report now includes additional information in an easy-to-navigate format.

Rod Input Table Improvements

New auto-population rules for the rod import table allow users to create and edit a rod string with fewer mouse clicks. Users now have the option to change the stress calculation method in the rod input table.

Improved Buckling Analysis

Rather than graph the buckling tendency, which is simply the negative rod loads with buoyant forces negated, buckling is graphed as a percentage of critical buckling load based on the guide spacing, or in the absence of guides, the space between upsets.

Calculator Graphs and Visuals

The calculators now include informative graphs and visuals that allow the user to view a range of outputs.
